NOTE: The February 2015 administration of the CPACE was the final administration of the original exam. A revised version of the exam began to be administered July 8, 2015. Test scores from the original CPACE exam cannot be combined with scores from the revised CPACE to obtain the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential.
The CPACE consists of 2 subtests:
- CPACE–Content (test code 603)
- CPACE–Performance (test code 604)
You must earn a passing score on both subtests to pass the CPACE. You may register to take any one subtest in a single test session.
- CPACE–Content: 70 multiple-choice questions and 3 focused constructed-response assignments
- CPACE–Performance: 2 performance modules

15 additional minutes is provided to complete a nondisclosure agreement and tutorial. Any time taken for breaks is considered part of your available testing time.
